Plant tissue is disrupted by grinding in liquid nitrogen, and DNA is released with detergent. Proteins, polysaccharides, and cell debris are eliminated by precipitation. DNA is bound to silica-based column.
- DNA yield up to 15 μg.
- Complete removal of pigment, polysaccharides and other impurity.
- DNA range of 20-50 kb.
- Column based purification, no organic extraction or ethanol precipitation. - Components
